Blocked but not forgotten…

Well, finally able to post an update after having a website suspension for no real reason. Probably some first hand discriminatory action, which plagues farms and activist in our industry. So there are some legal happenings to report as we head towards year end. The Holiday crop is in full swing, got a full house of vegetating beauties that I can’t wait to show you.

We all were quite alarmed with some local “raids” happening at a few CBD/Hemp storefronts in the last couple months. There were YouTube videos with local “chiefs'‘ droning on keeping products away from children, etc. attempting to justify their over-reaching behavior. Well then, we now find one Police Dept. picked up a $70k fine and the other is being sued in Federal Court for millions. Now what you say, ignoring rights/laws while pursuing personal beliefs does not pay and every one of these publicly funded person(s) should be held accountable. Let us not forget, the Local Police force in use today, was originally adopted to Police the Slaves during the 1800s, this is FACT. Who are they policing today?

So the real legal news goes along with activity gearing up next year on both the state and federal fronts. Long awaited USDA Farm Bill 2018 rewrites are expected in 2025, after being a few years delayed. This will be interesting, because of suggestions to prohibit all extracts from the Hemp crop, which is ridiculous… imagine popcorn being banned from corn. Actually, President Trump is the one who signed Hemp into legality back in 2018 and I don’t see that regime backing away from the new billion dollar industry that was created. On the Texas state front, we have 2 actions going on slated for Legislative sessions in January. Regulation of hemp products is up for discussion as well as a strong bill proposing Cannabis legalization. The time is near for us in Texas folks, we have been enjoying legal hemp products, now widely available for years. Let’s keep Texas Hemp strong, promote our local growers and push the big box national MJ operators away.

Meet one of our Winter babies.

Lastly, I am reserved about posting/showing pictures of my babies when they are young. However, I am not going to rely on AI or someone else’s work to brag about either. So here’s a peek at one of my baby girls, whom I call Donut :)

We are using new germination/seedling concepts with some of the plants on this crop run, which slowed things down by a few weeks. Also sorting through some subpar seedlings, which is a little concerning when dealing with high-end breeders. However we are off to the races in full Vegetative mode with many candidates for the Winter Crop and at this point, we will push the first wave into Flowering the first of December. I am so excited to have a wide variety available this time, something for everyone. Our lead plants are from the Cherry Bubblegum (High CBD) , Skywalker OG (Sativa dominant hybrid), Jelly Donutz (Indica dominant hybrid) and a Blue Dream variation (Hybrid). Something for everyone, from the non-intoxicant crew, the momma needs a break team and the psychonauts.

Gonna get back to the bi-weekly and weekly posts/updates now we are back in the Garden. About a month out from the first frost… peace out.
