Plant a seed and watch it grow

Well not quite, but I guess picking any old seed to plant and watching it grow is a possible if your into that. As we specialize in hemp and other exotic species, we obtain our seeds from award winning breeders around the world. So each seed is germinated and nurtured carefully into a seedling stage. A little different then slinging seeds across the yard or burying into a row of your field. Seed selection is based on Strain, Potency, Flavor and Yield, along with Commissioned special requests from clients.

Pictured is a 3 week old sucker leaf from a hybrid strain called Jelly Donutz.

And then there is the plants gender situation. Only female hemp can produce the flower, so seed selection is very careful. Imagine half the plants you grow after 3 months turn into male plants and have to be sacrificied. Additionally, stress and genomic factors could cause the plant to experience a “Hermaphodite” type situation, whereas the plant has both male and female qualities. Bad again, as one single Male plant will pollinate all of your females with Seed, ruining your flower harvest. Yes, we love our females here at GreenVibe Gardens.

Cloning or taking cuttings from a “mother” plant helps with the above situation. However as strains continue to evolve and customer demands vary, we only promote special selected specimens to keep as a mother plant. Cloning is a whole another ballgame, and you really don’t save much time because vegetation is still necessary before flowering. The positive is that you can rapidly deploy your plants without much concern for gender, provided your conditions and handling are adequate.

GreenVibe excels in recreating mini environments allowing for cultivation of a variety of strains and species. Each pod or grow area is carefully tuned to meet the needs of the growing crops.

Alright man, so you found the right spot to grow and copped some gas-fire seed. Let’s get these things growing!
