Hard work paying off in the garden, looking at some really nice flowers and yield for the Winter 25 crops…. pandemonium running wild. Let me tell you, the work has just started for those of you who have hand trimmed and cured final product. So get this, our state law makers are deliberating now on a proposed bill now to ban hemp products in Texas, essentially shutting our Hemp Flower down (for now). We are in the final weeks of flowering with a run of Red Velvet and Humbolt Dream, both exotic variations from legendary award winning strains. A blue dream mixed with a panty dropper has to be legendary :)
Turns out the Red Velvet seems to be more purp then red and has begun to spew a thick stickiness. These bad ass ladies are a part of a private reserve, we may have some samplers available for a short time.
Texas Hemp Strong!
So what is going on in Austin about now? Legislation started back in January and they are now getting to SB3, which calls for the banning of Hemp Derived Cannabanoid Products (including CBD). Hearings on the bill starts this week and the deck is stacked against us. Texas Hemp Coalition has presented a formable front, and even the Vibe submitted testimony to our Chairman and Senators on the board. Regardless that products have been available and used for 6 years, with no presentable studies indicating downside and they just want to ban them based on fear,… fear children can access. For Senators, they are not very educated on the products or market… child safe containers are already standard, along with 21+ year age requirements and clear testing/potency labeling.
Regardless, GreenVibe is here to stay, as we are equipped and produce many exotic botanicals.
